A modern and easy-to-navigate website is important for any company, but especially to cultivate trust in financial institutions. I redesigned and developed updated websites for Vizo Financial and its CUSO, MY CU Services. I also designed and developed a website for Vizo Financial's new brand, CUaxis. The three websites were designed to be distinguishable from one another, while also including similar design elements as a nod to the parent brand.
As a company's products evolve, it's important for its website to keep up. I maintained Chicco USA's website by creating and updating landing pages for new products and color collections. I also managed their video library and product database, and updated the website's content to improve SEO. Additionally, I created graphics and edited images for Chicco's email campaigns, often within tight deadlines.
I started by creating the iceburg logo to go with their slogan, then followed up with matching website and business cards. The website was created through a WordPress installation, which allows the business owners to easily edit its content.
Armstrong wanted photos of all their available products on their website, but installing and photographing hundreds of floors would have been time-consuming and expensive. I took their existing photos and edited them to match samples of the different flooring products that they offer.
Keeping the bear idea from the old logo and company name, I used smooth lines and a minimalist approach for the new logo design. The design was finished off with a strong, yet approachable font.
The lovebird logo and Name Change Kit cards were designed to catch the eye of brides during wedding planning. Eventually, a website was created to match. The website was hand-coded in Dreamweaver.
The logo for this aircraft leasing service incorporates a propellor and sky blue color. The website was hand-coded in Dreamweaver and includes interactive maps showing flight times between various cities.
PRA was in need a new logo, but wanted to keep their mascot, Rex the dog. I used the low-res original as a guide for redrawing Rex and created a sleeker logo in the same artistic style. Matching business cards completed the package.
Lauren was revamping her portrait photography business and needed a new logo for her website and business cards. The contrasting handwritten and sans-serif fonts give the logo a clean but down-to-earth look and feel. The geometric gold border adds a touch of simple elegance.
Working off a reference photo, I created this geometric dog graphic in Illustrator for use on custom printed vinyl stickers and apparel. After the success of the original illustration, I created additional graphics to capture this and other dogs' personalities.
Using Illustrator and TypeTool, I created several different custom display fonts. The two most popular fonts, Lemonade and Vegan Pizza, have a combined download count of over 250,000 downloads, and have been used by designers worldwide.

These and more lo-fi polygon portraits were done over a span of several years. This exercise ties in the use of shapes, colors and, in some cases, typography to create a cohesive image. The artistic style continues to develop with each new portrait.
This logo was created for the grunge band Gutter Hook. The group wanted to incorporate an actual hook into the logo, as well as the look of an old neon sign. The rough and rusty metal texture in the top part of the logo complements the bright and flowing text below.
This book covers visual branding guidelines that I established for 5 different divisions under Vital Huber, Inc. Setting clear guidelines allows a brand to remain consistent when multiple designers are involved.
